PBP Vader (No Coo)

part 1 (naked)

Most PBP Vaders have "Long Bars" on the chest, they all appear to have white paint under the red.

But like with all "PBP" figures, the disctinct plastic smell seems to be the deciding factor for the figures called "PBP"

1.) This figure has long chest bars and red over white paint and PBP smell.

"Scarr" COO , unlike other No Coo Vaders, the text area is "dug out" . Whatever they did while making these, the area around the letters, broke away when molded and left a "scarr"

This version is commonly called "Deep Scarr" , you will notice the leg is very glossy and the scarr area is smooth inside.

This is the Hong Kong match. There is another similar version. You can tell the difference mainly by the spacing of the 1977 from top of boot.

2) This figure also has long chest bars and red over white paint and PBP smell. The head is more glossy than #1 or #4

This figure also has a "Deep Scarr"  , but the scarr are is much more rough and not as glossy. *The scarr itself looks to be exactly the same as #1*

3) This figure also has long chest bars and red over white paint and PBP smell. The head is more glossy than #1 or #4 . However the paint apps appear to be meant for the shorter bar "Early Poch" version.

You will notice the paint does not go to the ends of the bars.

This COO is unlike any of the other 3 above. Mainly because it's a No COO to a different Hong Kong version. It has been called, "H Scarr" , due to the parital H followed by the scarr.

The spacing on this version is much closer to the top of the boot.

4) This figure was saved for last. It is Sold as PBP and has other Poch/PBP traits. Long Bars and White under Red and melt marks. However there is NO PBP smell. The head is not glossy. The limbs are softer than any of the 3 above. Is it PBP?

This COO is the same HK version as #1 & 2 , but the COO is commonly called, "Blob" Coo.
